Playmakers Present Play by local Playwright
A popular actor with the Grove Playmakers, Pam Leptich, is now a playwright as well. In typical Pam style, the title of the play may have you going to the dictionary. "Persnickety-Or The Ironic Passion of Carlicious" opens Sunday, February 16 for a 2:00 matinee. It runs for seven performances on Sunday matinees, and Thursday and Friday evenings, ending Sunday March 2, 2025.
With an engaging mixture of comedy and drama full of emotion and humor, "Persnickety' is a story of love, betrayal, and the unspoken truths that bind us together. As laughter, tears, and unforgettable moments of joy and heartache unfold, Carlicious leans on the unbreakable bond of her friends and family to guide her in this compelling play that mixes the laughter and the tears side by side to tell an unforgettable story to which all audiences will relate.
The cast includes Pam herself, Ashley Davidson, also the Director, Vicki King, Tonya Rudick, Don Simpson, and Justin Eskew.

The minimum age limit for this production is high school. It is based on the capability of the student to understand the content of the production as well as the appropriateness of the play for that age level. This is a strong guideline, not a rule, so please talk with the box office volunteer when you make reservations about bringing younger students. Young children, under 5 years of age, are only admitted to special productions for them.
